LeSocle.Paris is an arrangement conceived and designed by the plastic artist Djeff, produced by the association 6m3 specially created as part of Embellir Paris.

This catalogue follows my exhibition Piédestal, an in-situ project in collaboration with le SOCLE and Galérie Valérie Delaunay, during Nuit Blanche 2019 in Paris.

    ENG.  Work in mutation composed of a large charcoal drawing on blotting paper and blue ink. Hour after hour, the fibers of the paper become tainted altering the reading of the drawing.
    In this first achievement, this project questions a part of french culture through the portrait of Voltaire to refer to the philosophy of Le Siècle des Lumières and its legacy in the society.


    FRA. Oeuvre en mutation composée d'un grand dessin au fusain sur papier buvard et d’encre blueue. Heure après heure, les fibres du papier viennent se teinter altérant la lecture du dessin.
    Dans cette première réalisation, ce projet interroge ce qui compose en partie la culture française à travers le portrait de Voltaire évoquant la philosophie du Siècle des Lumières et sa présence dans la société d’aujourd’hui.
